The Yorktown Patriots basketball team (Arlington, VA), was overwhelmed 69-48 in Friday's league battle with the host Langley Saxons (McLean, VA)
The Saxons now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington-Liberty for a District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Langley will confront a Generals team coming off a 47-38 league win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Generals record now stands at 12-5.
The Patriots (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Herndon was overwhelmed by Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 58-39, in a league battle.
