The Pope Greyhounds tipped the host Lassiter Trojans basketball team by a final score of 64-60 in Friday's league game.
Coming up next, the Greyhounds battle the Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 7 battle, on Friday, February 3. Pope will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record.
The Trojans (8-14) will now prepare for their battle against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators come into the AAAAAA Region 7 battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Johns Creek edged Roswell (Roswell, GA), 54-48, in a league battle.
