The Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Summit Tahoma Thunderbirds to 25 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Luis Valdez Leadership Academy for a Private School - South contest on Saturday, January 28. Latino College Preparatory Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 68-13 league loss to Cristo Rey (San Jose, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-12.

The Thunderbirds (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against More (San Jose, CA). The Knights come into the Private School - South contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, More triumphed over Latino College Preparatory Academy (San Jose, CA), 74-30, in a league contest.
