The Lavaca Golden Arrows (Lavaca, AR) basketball felled the visiting Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR), 54-45 in Friday's league test.
The Golden Arrows (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Future School of Fort Smith (Fort Smith, AR). The Rockets go into the 2A Region 4 test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Future School of Fort Smith was beaten by Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR), 71-51, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mountainburg for a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 31. Westside will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 71-51 league win over Future School of Fort Smith (Fort Smith, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 7-8.
