The Port Neches-Groves Indians basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Lee Ganders to 35 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Arthur Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Port Neches-Groves will battle a Titans team coming off a 71-42 league win over Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Titans record now stands at 22-8.

The Ganders (11-15) will now prepare for their contest against Nederland (Nederland, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region III District 17 contest with a 12-15 record. In their last contest, Nederland ran past Crosby (Crosby, TX), 38-35, in a league contest.
