Illinois High School Basketball - Lexington nudges Tri-Valley

January 27, 2023: Lexington, IL 61753

Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL), 55-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Woodland (Streator, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-17. Woodland lost 49-35 in their recent non-league bout against Peotone (Peotone, IL)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Tri-Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record.
