California High School Basketball - Lincoln can't hold off Piedmont Hills

The Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln Lions to 79 in the Pirates league victory on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leigh for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton West contest on Wednesday, February 1. Piedmont Hills will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 78-63 league win over Independence (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-6.

The Lions (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins come into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton West contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Branham was nudged by Pioneer (San Jose, CA), 57-51, in a league contest.
