Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL) and the host Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL), saw Southside's basketball squad hold off Lincoln by a tally of 44-39.
With the victory, Southside improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Alexandria (Alexandria, AL) to confront the Valley Cubs in a 5A Area 12 challenge on Monday, January 30. The Valley Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 7-6.
