Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) and the host Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD), saw Lower Brule's basketball squad knock off Marty Indian by a tally of 78-58.

With the victory, Lower Brule improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Sioux travel to Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD) to play the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Crazy Horse won 73-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Omaha Nation (Macy, NE)

Next up, the Braves play the Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Marty Indian will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 73-53 non-league loss to Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD).
