The Lynnfield Pioneers basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Triton Regional Vikings to 40 in the Pioneers league victory on Friday.

The Pioneers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Georgetown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Lynnfield will battle a Royals team coming off a 64-45 league loss to Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA). The Royals record now stands at 9-3.

The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA). The Reggies come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Greater Lawrence Tech prevailed over Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
