Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), 79-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mammoth Spring upgrades its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR) to play the Falcons in a 1A Region 3 bout on Monday, January 30. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 4-15. Crowley's Ridge Academy lost 71-49 in their recent non-league bout against Gosnell (Gosnell, AR)

Next up, the Warriors play the KIPP Blytheville Thunder (Blytheville, AR) in a 1A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Ridgefield Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-23 season record. The Thunder come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 63-6 league loss to Armorel (Armorel, AR).
