The Youngsville Eagles (Youngsville, PA) basketball felled the visiting Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA), 50-33 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Kane (Kane, PA). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Kane thwarted Sheffield (Sheffield, PA), 60-47, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Cochranton for a District 10 Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 31. Maplewood will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 65-61 league loss to Saegertown (Saegertown, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-9.
