The McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Spanish Fort Toros to 55 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Picayune for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. McGill-Toolen will battle a Maroon Tide team coming off a 63-25 league win over Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 13-14.
The Toros (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL). The Golden Bears come into the 6A Area 2 contest with a 19-8 record. In their last contest, Robertsdale prevailed over Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL), 60-46, in a league contest.
