In Friday's league outing, the Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX), by a margin of 60-37.

The Skyrockets (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wheeler (Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region I District 2 outing with a 15-10 record. In their last outing, Wheeler smashed Shamrock (Shamrock, TX), 53-35, in a league outing.

The Cyclones now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Clarendon for a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 31. Memphis will play a Broncos squad coming off a 50-39 league win over Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 9-6.
