Texas High School Basketball - Midland overwhelms Midland Legacy

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) and the host Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), saw Midland's basketball squad wallop Midland Legacy by a count of 76-46.

With the victory, Midland upgrades its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Permian (Odessa, TX) to play the Panthers in a 6A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 15-10. Permian lost 50-49 in their recent league challenge against Odessa (Odessa, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Midland Legacy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-23 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 20-6 record after their 62-60 league win over Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
