In Friday's league outing, the Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA) basketball squad beat the host Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA), by a margin of 67-51.

The Grizzlies (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Wildcats go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Eastmont defeated Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA), 67-62, in a league outing.

The Mavericks now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Eisenhower for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing on Saturday, January 28. Moses Lake will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 83-62 league loss to West Valley (Yakima, WA). The Cadets record now stands at 2-13.
