In Friday's non-league outing, the Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ) basketball squad nipped the visiting Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ), by a margin of 63-56.

The Gaels (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Colonials go into the non-league outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Morristown got by Dover (Dover, NJ), 72-21, in a league outing.

The Marauders now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Boonton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. Mount Olive will clash with a Bombers squad coming off a 57-53 league loss to Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 8-9.
