Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR), 57-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Nettleton upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Raiders host Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a 5A East bout on Saturday, February 4. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 19-6. Greene County Tech lost 47-43 in their recent league bout against Paragould (Paragould, AR)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR) in a 5A East bout, on Friday, February 3. Searcy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 9-15 record after their 47-43 league win over Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR).
