Texas High School Basketball - Sundown ripped by New Home

The New Home Leopards basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Sundown Roughnecks to 29 in the Leopards league triumph on Friday.

The Leopards now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seagraves for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 31. New Home will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-28 league win over Post (Post, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 17-10.

The Roughnecks (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Seagraves (Seagraves, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 17-10 record.
