West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host New London Tigers (New London, IA), 62-55 in a league bout.

With the win, West Burlington upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Danville (Danville, IA) to clash with the Bears in a SEI - South bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Danville won 70-28 in their recent league bout against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) in a SEI - South bout, on Tuesday, January 31. New London will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Nikes go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 63-46 non-league win over Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA).
