The North Polar Bears basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting University Park to 44 in the Polar Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Polar Bears now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burncoat for a Inter High contest on Sunday, January 29. North will battle a Patriots team coming off a 60-49 league loss to Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-9.
The (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Doherty Memorial triumphed over Burncoat (Worcester, MA), 60-49, in a league contest.
