Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA), 81-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Union Grove upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Wolverines host Clarke Central (Athens, GA) to clash with the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Clarke Central lost 63-62 in their recent league bout against Loganville (Loganville, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Ola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 14-9 record after their 67-57 non-league loss to Houston County (Warner Robins, GA).
