Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stockbridge Panthers (Stockbridge, MI), 71-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Olivet upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Eagles host Coldwater (Coldwater, MI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Coldwater won 42-37 in their recent league bout against Hastings (Hastings, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Bath Fighting Bees (Bath, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Stockbridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Fighting Bees go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 39-37 non-league loss to Leslie (Leslie, MI).
