The Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) basketball knocked off the host Panther Creek Panthers (Frisco, TX), 70-57 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (14-14) will now prepare for their test against Aubrey (Aubrey, TX). The Chaparrals go into the 4A Region II District 11 test with a 23-4 record. In their last test, Aubrey notched a victory over Anna (Anna, TX), 60-55, in a league test.
