The Petersburg Buffaloes basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Wilson Mustangs to 28 in the Buffaloes league triumph on Friday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crosbyton for a 1A Region I District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Mustangs (7-23) will now prepare for their contest against Varsity Opponent (, ). The enter the non-league contest with a 330-1015 record.
