The Pipestone Arrows (Pipestone, MN) basketball nipped the visiting St. James Saints (St. James, MN), 75-69 in Friday's league test.
The Arrows (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Cardinals go into the AA Section 3 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Redwood Valley was tipped by Breck (Minneapolis, MN), 76-48, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to New Ulm for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. St. James will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 78-67 league win over Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
