Connecticut High School Basketball - Whitney RVT can't hold off Platt RVT

The Platt RVT Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Whitney RVT Owls to 42 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilcox RVT for a Connecticut Technical - South match on Friday, February 3. Platt RVT will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 81-39 non-league loss to Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.
With the defeat, Whitney RVT moves to 9-2 on the year. The Owls travel to Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 1. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 6-8. Bullard-Havens won 63-56 in their recent league match against Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT)
