Texas High School Basketball - Valley View overwhelmed by Ponder

The Valley View Eagles basketball team (Valley View, TX), was overwhelmed 64-19 in Friday's league battle with the host Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX)

The Lions now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Callisburg for a 3A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Ponder will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 42-21 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-17.

The Eagles (12-16) will now prepare for their battle against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region II District 10 battle with a 11-11 record. In their last battle, Whitesboro trounced Boyd (Boyd, TX), 40-36, in a league battle.
