Florida High School Basketball - Ponte Vedra tops St. Augustine

Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host St. Augustine Yellow Jackets (St. Augustine, FL), 63-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ponte Vedra upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Sharks host Nease (Ponte Vedra, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 16-6.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Bolles Bulldogs (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Augustine will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 14-9 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, FL).
