The Pope Francis Prep Cardinals (Springfield, MA) basketball crushed the host Westfield Bombers (Westfield, MA), 75-38 in Friday's league test.
The Cardinals (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Amherst-Pelham Regional (Amherst, MA). The Hurricanes go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record.
The Bombers now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Amherst-Pelham Regional for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Westfield will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 53-34 non-league win over East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-6.
