William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 73-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, William Campbell upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Generals host Altavista (Altavista, VA) to play the Colonels in a Dogwood bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Colonels come into the bout with a record of 13-3. Altavista won 78-64 in their recent league bout against Gretna (Gretna, VA)

Next up, the Statesmen play the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) in a James River bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Randolph-Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Dukes come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 70-44 league win over Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA).
