The Red Bud Musketeers basketball squad scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Wesclin Warriors to 47 in the Musketeers league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Red Bud upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Musketeers host Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 19-4. Gibault Catholic won 60-50 in their recent non-league bout against Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Wesclin will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record. The Vandals come into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 69-34 league win over Staunton (Staunton, IL).
