Tensas Panthers (St. Joseph, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), 65-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Tensas upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to Block (Jonesville, LA) to play the Bears in a 1A District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Block lost 73-37 in their recent league bout against Delhi (Delhi, LA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Delta Charter Storm (Ferriday, LA) in a 1A District 4 challenge, on Monday, January 30. Sicily Island will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 55-48 league loss to Delhi Charter (Delhi, LA).
