North Carolina High School Basketball - Washington County routs South Creek

January 27, 2023: Plymouth, NC 27962

In Friday's league outing, the Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Creek Cougars (Robersonville, NC), by a margin of 64-20.

The Panthers (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The go into the 1A Conference 2 outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, North East Carolina Prep was trounced by Perquimans (Hertford, NC), 60-49, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Perquimans for a 1A Conference 2 outing on Tuesday, January 31. South Creek will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 60-49 league win over North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-14.
