In Friday's league match, the visiting Waterford Wildcats basketball team scored a good 56-48 triumph over the South Gallia Rebels.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH) in a Tri-Valley II match, on Tuesday, January 31. Waterford will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Lancers enter the match with a 16-2 record after their 73-39 league win over Eastern (Reedsville, OH).
With the defeat, South Gallia moves to 7-8 on the year. The Rebels travel to Trimble (Glouster, OH) to meet the Tomcats in a Tri-Valley II match on Tuesday, January 31. The Tomcats enter the match with a record of 4-6.
