In Friday's league outing, the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 73-31.

The Cowboys (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks go into the 4A Conference 55 outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Northern Guilford was crushed by Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 74-64, in a league outing.
