The St. Paul (Worcester, MA) basketball nipped the host St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA), 61-59 in Friday's league test.
The (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA). The Chieftains go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Nashoba Regional got by Marlborough (Marlborough, MA), 82-54, in a league test.
The Bernardians now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Collegiate Charter School of Lowell for a non-league test on Monday, January 30. St. Bernard's Central Catholic will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 53-50 non-league loss to Notre Dame Cristo Rey (Lawrence, MA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-10.
