The Wylie East Raiders basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Wylie Pirates to 56 in the Raiders league victory on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Garland for a 6A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Wylie East will battle a Raiders team coming off a 65-46 league loss to Rowlett (Rowlett, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 3-21.
The Pirates (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against Naaman Forest (Garland, TX). The Rangers come into the 6A Region II District 9 contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Naaman Forest edged South Garland (Garland, TX), 45-41, in a league contest.
