New Mexico High School Basketball - Del Norte knocked off by Valley

The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Del Norte Knights to 33 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernalillo for a contest on Tuesday, January 31. Valley will meet a Spartans team coming off a 56-49 league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 6-9.
The Knights (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Hope Christian was outscored by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 73-59, in a non-league contest.
