Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA), 70-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Foothill upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host West Valley (Cottonwood, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-10. West Valley won 54-47 in their recent league bout against Lassen (Susanville, CA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Enterprise will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 21-1 record after their 60-31 league win over Shasta (Redding, CA).
