The Yuba City Honkers basketball team (Yuba City, CA), was nudged 41-36 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA)
The Timberwolves now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bella Vista for a battle on Wednesday, February 1. Woodcreek will battle a Broncos team coming off a 59-47 league win over River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 16-7.
The Honkers (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Antelope (Antelope, CA). The Titans come into the battle with a 20-4 record. In their last battle, Antelope edged Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA), 72-36, in a league battle.
