Berkley Bears (Berkley, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Adams Highlanders (Rochester, MI), 47-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Berkley upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Bears host North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI) to play the Raiders in a Freelance bout on Thursday, February 2. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 15-0. North Farmington won 53-34 in their recent non-league bout against Groves (Beverly Hills, MI)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) in a Oakland - Blue bout, on Thursday, February 2. Adams will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 41-28 non-league loss to Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI).
