Minnesota High School Basketball - Pequot Lakes crushes Aitkin

Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN), 71-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Pequot Lakes upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Patriots host Rocori (Cold Spring, MN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-10.

Next up, the Gobblers play the Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN) in a AA Section 7 bout, on Thursday, February 2. Aitkin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record.
