With the victory, Akiachak improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Aniak (Aniak, AK) to play the Halfbreeds in a 1A Greater Kuskokwim challenge on Friday, January 27. The Halfbreeds come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Aniak won 38-24 in their recent league challenge against Akiak (Akiak, AK)

Next up, the Grizzly Bears play the Tuluksak Wolverines (Tuluksak, AK) in a 1A Greater Kuskokwim challenge, on Friday, January 27. Kalskag will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 40-15 non-league loss to Akiak (Akiak, AK).
