The Pierz Pioneers basketball squad (Pierz, MN), was trounced 59-25 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Albany Huskies (Albany, MN)
The Huskies (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN). The Eagles go into the AA Section 6 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Eden Valley-Watkins was trounced by Kimball (Kimball, MN), 61-57, in a league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Holdingford for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. Pierz will clash with a Huskers squad coming off a 68-64 non-league win over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN). The Huskers record now stands at 14-3.
