North Carolina High School Basketball - North Stokes thwarts Alleghany

The North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) basketball knocked off the host Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 46-29 in Friday's league test.

The Vikings (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the 1A Conference 36 test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Mount Airy notched a victory over Starmount (Boonville, NC), 43-35, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 0-19 record. They play next when they host East Wilkes for a 1A Conference 36 test on Tuesday, January 31.
