Texas High School Basketball - Allen can't hold off McKinney

The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Allen Eagles to 51 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyd for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 31. McKinney will battle a Broncos team coming off a 62-27 league loss to Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 6-19.
The Eagles (24-7) will now prepare for their contest against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 12-12 record. In their last contest, Guyer was nudged by Braswell (Little Elm, TX), 61-31, in a league contest.
