California High School Basketball - West Valley overwhelms Anderson

January 27, 2023: Anderson, CA 96007

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) and the host Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), saw West Valley's basketball squad wallop Anderson by a count of 63-38.

With the victory, West Valley upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Foothill won 55-24 in their recent league challenge against Enterprise (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Cubs play the Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) in a Northern challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 63-45 league win over Yreka (Yreka, CA).
