The Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA), 45-41 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers go into the A D2 Region 8A test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Greene County was tipped by Warren County (Warrenton, GA), 44-42, in a league test.
