North Carolina High School Basketball - Forestview ripped by Ashbrook

January 27, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28054

The Ashbrook Greenwave basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Forestview Jaguars to 19 in the Greenwave league triumph on Friday.

The Greenwave now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelby for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Ashbrook will battle a Golden Lions team coming off a 67-24 league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 17-1.

The Jaguars (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers enter the 3A Conference 50 contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Kings Mountain triumphed over North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 59-23, in a league contest.
